Older congregation that is now in decline. While they use a nice Power Point presentation for worship, they rely on the hymnals for their music. Attendees are content w/ status quo, and welcome any one but only as long as you enter on their terms.\r

Pastor appears to be a nice empty-nester, grandfather of preschool age kids type. He may have interest in change to grow his flock, but realises that he is too close to retirement age to rock the boat and risk alienating the people that contribute enough to the church so that he can still draw a comfortable salary and benefits. This is my perception as I do not know this to be true, but just my experience knowing lots of ministers and the struggles they face balancing a desire to pay their own bills, keeping the church doors open, and eliminating internal strife.\r
