Buyer Beware!!!! October 4, 2013 \r I bought a pair of work boots from Chuck's Boots on Oct 4- 13 and wore them to work the next day. After a couple hours wearing the boots my left foot was so sore i had to leave work because my left foot was raw from my new Georgia Boots.I tried to wear them when i could (thinking maybe to break them in) but there still was alot of discomfort in left boot.. I called Chuck's Boots and told them my problem and a manager told me if i brought them back he would look for a defect and let me swap them out for a new different brand of boots plus i was of course willing to pay the difference. Long story short some young employee told me i need to place a softball in one shoe and stretch it out and I could not exchange for a more comfortable pair.I drove forty five minutes one way to hear this news.I was upset and told the employee to keep his boots. I left them on his counter and told him i would buy my shoes elsewhere. He did not care but he smirked as i walked out leaving my brand new boots(paid for) on the counter....POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE more

Deciding to replace my trusty but well-worn CAT's this winter, I was considering some Matterhorns. I called Chuck's Boots. I was told that they didn't stock them, but they could order them. \r I stopped by the store the next day to place my order. Based on what I was looking for, two of the sales staff recommended that I consider the Danner Acadia 200G GTX. They even had my size in stock! (at the very bottom of a respectable size run). Since I was able to try them on, though they were a just a little more than I had planned to spend, I bought them. I like simplicity.\r My first experience with Chuck's Boots in LSMO gets a perfect score. The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me find a great pair of boots which were within my budget, in stock, and fit my requirements (and my oddish feet). I may not need another pair of boots for another decade or so. When I do, Chuck's Boots will be where I go. more

We have been in Chuck's Boots twice - each time we made a purchase but that was without the help of the staff since they never offered any assistance. The first purchase was fine - boots for my little girl that she loved. The second purchase was for my husband a pair of boots that he could work in outside. Again, he was offered no assistance. He purchased these boots which gave him horrible blisters and pain. He brought back the boots and they refused to offer a credit or exchange - nothing. The customer service there is zero. Only shop there if you've researched the purchase and go in knowing exactly what you want and knowing that if something goes wrong with your purchase - you are out the money. Buyer beware from this little store - you are much better off going somewhere else with your money. more

I love Chuck's Boots! They have the best selection of any place I have ever been, and with GREAT prices. The staff is always friendly and really knows their boots. The drive is worth it if you want good boots! more
