It is so very, very sad. This used to be one of the best Chinese buffets you would find anywhere, in any city. The Pon-Pon chicken to this day is one of the best Chinese-American dishes I have ever tasted. And the Hibachi grilled chicken was always a favorite as well. Everything else on the buffet was always fresh and tasty and it was truly my favorite place to eat in town. Then the restaurant changed hands, and I guess he took his Pon-Pon recipe with him, because the food quality changed as well. The hibachi chicken is still there but its no where near as good. They did add a stir fry table so you can get noodle bowls if you want, but that doesn't make up for the drop in quality. The rest of the dishes have suffered as well. Its now an average restaurant at best, and if you were old school and expecting the good ole China Garden then you will be very disappointed.
