I had a family I was working with in my field of work who was seeing Dr. Bhuskute for care. This family had a two year old who had severe reflux and was having a very difficult time keeping food down and gaining weight. When I'd contacted the facility to gather a little more history on the child's health, the Nurse I spoke with then noticed that this family had been inconsistent with Immunization and Well-Child checks. When I asked the Nurse what their protocol was for ensuring that the children they see are up to date with Immunizations and well-checks, she reported that they did not have a tickler system to determine who was behind or up to date. Apparently despite the number of times this child was scheduled for an appointment, NO ONE bothered to check to see if this child was up to date with immunizations or well-checks. Saying that, this child continued to be way below the norm in weight and this family continued to feel helpless. more

I have a 6 and 2 year old. This is an good place when you have a regularly scheduled appointment. But if you child gets sick on a Friday afternoon plan on being on hold for over 10 minutes to be told you cant be seen today we can fit you in on Monday! It has happened 3 times. When they can fit you in, you have a long wait ahead which is kind of understandable. The appointment setters like to just put you on hold only asking 50% of the time if it's okay. They usually just pick up the phone and hit the hold button without saying anything. I understand that you take care of the people in front of you first but at least apologize for the wait. They PA's are nice and it's easier to see them. The front office staff is indifferent and the appointment setters have been doing it for too long to remember what customer service is...yes we are paying customer who can take our money somewhere else which is what I am finally going to do. more

I regularly take my daughter to this group as I find them to be very good. They go extra miles to accomodate sick children. The triage nurses also call back very quickly and give very good advice. They also suggest medications over the counter when they do not want the kid to be exposed to the viruses in the hospital. more

I have been bringing my children to this office for 5 years and I love the doctors. They are thorough and patient with the kids. Dr. Maxcy in particular is great! He is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure that your child is well taken care of. I was hooked when my 3 week old caught a cold and had a nasty cough. He would cough so hard and for so long that he would start to turn blue in the lips. When I brought him in the very next morning Dr. Maxcy got him admitted to Phoenix Children's Hospital and got us connected with a good doctor there that we would be comfortable with. He spent over 2 hours dealing with all the red tape that is involved in getting a child admitted to a hospital, so all we had to do was show up at the hospital and they were able to take us right to our room. more
