Crappy pictures at an excellent price! 9/25/2007

I just graduated and my school hired Chico's to do our graduation pictures. $20 in cash for eight wallets, two 3x4"", two 5x7"", and one 11x14."" It's a price you won't find anywhere else. The problem is that the photographer, Philip Sampson, has absolutely no idea how to take pictures. The last class that graduated were furious about the results. Not one person kept their photos. My class is no exception. You would just have to see it to believe it. They're blurry, poorly lit, and he doesn't know how to pose you. NEVER in my life have I ever gone to a photographer and been told to tilt my chin DOWN. He did this with everyone and even if we requested he at least take one photo with our chins up, he won't give it to you. Everyone is devastated with their photos. I honestly just don't understand how he could give these back to us; it's humiliating-- FOR HIM! We took a group picture and we all had to have our heads down and look up at him. Only the people in the front row were in focus and the people in the back row, are in the dark. You can't see their faces.\r \r Y'know $20 really isn't a lot of money to lose-- that's not the point. The point is that our very special day was ruined because the photographer we hired to remember our special day ruined our photos. Stay away from this place... at least until Mr. Sampson takes Photography 101. He's not even worth the $20. Pros: Cheapest prices ever! Cons: You get pictures you'd be too embarassed to show your grandmother that is going blind. more
