Worst

Benetton in Aurora Outlet Mall is a scam. Do not go to it. They are putting stickers with higher prices on labels then marking it 20% off and calling it an outlet store.

Outlet Insanity 5/3/2006

My wife and I enjoy spending an occasional afternoon at the Chicago Premium Outlets, which are conveniently located right off I-88 in Aurora. Although you'll see cars fighting for spaces at the entrance, if you follow the road around the complex, there's plenty of parking in the rear with hardly any competition for spot hunting. There's a great number of stores that range from discount to retail, so watch out that the store is actually discounting what they sell. I've found Le Creuset has some great bargains, and the watch store (Time Factory) discounts their watches quite a bit. Overall a fun afternoon, but rain/snow can detract from this outdoor mall. more

Huge Outlet Mall 2/24/2006

This is a huge outlet mall in Aurora. There are a variety of great, quality outlet stores here. But one thing I dislike about this place is that it is outdoors. During the winter, it is really hard to get around, espcially in the bitter cold. But during the summer, this place is beautiful. There's lots of places to shop at and a decent food court as well. One last gripe I have with this place is that parking is a major pain to find, even though there's so many spots... more

Fantastic Shopping 1/29/2006

These outlets range from the practical to the exotic. Some stores, like Mikasa and Brooks Brothers, are true outlets-- offering seconds and other discontinued items. Other stores, however, are less outlet and more specialty stores. (I've yet to see a bargain at Bose). My favorite store is Le Creuset. We did most of our holiday shopping there-- found one of their trademark cooking pots for $40, when it retails for over $200! The food court has a variety of choices, but it's often really crowded and difficult to find a table. more
