This place has gone sooooooooooooo down hill and the prices are too high for the lack of flavor their food has. It is taco bell with a bar. It use to be ok but the last few times it's been nasty. more

PLEASE! This is mass-marketed and mass-prepared food! How can Chevy's be on here and NOT Catalinas! I think that should speak volumes about the people who voted in this category! It is boring and bland. Pros: Margaritas, Chips and Salsa Cons: Mass Produced, Not Fresh, Not creative more

You have got to be kidding, with all the great restaurants in town this must be paid advertising. Greasy tortillias, bland guac, and too much sour cream on everything. You might as well nominate Taco Bell. Not to mention the prices are more than I would pay for even moderate food. Pros: Lots of room Cons: no charm, over priced, subpar food more

Less is not more.... 12/15/2002

Chevy's has a lot to learn about how a customer should be treated. They have continually cut corners trying to keep the almighty dollar. First they stopped giving the kids tortilla doughballs. We actually asked a waitress about it & she told us it was too expensive to give away. Now they wait until just before you get your meal to give you chips & salsa. Do they re-distribute the food?? We have seen the prices go way up in just about two years time. With the way the economy is now, they should be lowering prices. I haven't seen the flour prices go up in my grocery store, but apparently they did wherever Chevy's shops! Pros: close to home Cons: selection, service, vallue more

Should be Chevys FAUX MEX Restaurant 12/3/2002

Quite possibly some of the poorest tasting Mexican food I've had. The entrees have little taste and style, but my favorite thing to ridicule is the lame excuse for spanish rice. Without a doubt the worst on the continent, and I hope I'm not revealing their secret recipe but I think it's a mixture of catsup and rice. The one redeeming factor in the whole place is the chips and salsa which are possibly the best in the entire Portland are. more

Good Place f/ Family/Friend Entertaining 8/7/2002

It is a good place to take family/friends. Kind of a Mexican TGI Fridays of sorts. It has a fun atmosphere. The food is a little more expensive than some of the smaller locally owned mexican restaurants, but their food does seem fresh and the portions are more than enough. The menu is also very flexible and allows for diffrent combonations of some of your favorites. Pros: Fresh, Plentiful Portions Cons: Plain Cement Floors more
