In addition to having the best pizza in the East Bay, Cheeseboard Pizza is also a successful worker co-operative. The Deli and Pizza locations are both wholly owned and operated by the workers, with the majority of executive decisions coming from regular ""council"" meetings. The Pizza place is actually a subsidiary of the Deli, but it has the option of forming a separate co-op at any time. If you've ever wondered why they have such strange hours, it's because that's what the workers chose!
Pros: The Pizza!, Round-numbered prices
Cons: Limited seating, Almost no parking, Strange hours
