I was in Las Vegas for Chemotherapy, I live 2 hours north of the VA in Vegas. My car started dying at every red light and would have to be jump started to get it going again. We checked into the motel and I called Checkers, closest to the motel. They said they were open until 9:00pm. We jumped our car again and arrived at Checkers at 8:00pm. to purchase a battery for us to install ourselves. The manager said he was closing because it was slow. I explained my desperate situation and he was so rude. He said he couldn't be bothered and we should just go back to the motel and hope for the best. I asked his name and he said his name was Ron and he was the manager. When I asked for his last name he refused.
