I had a nightmare bridal dress experience in this store. I cannot recommend staying away from this place and its terrible staff enough!! I am a Columbia graduate student living in...
Possibly a misnomer, Cheap Jack's is 12,000 square feet of elegant vintage. Sure, '80s prom dresses abound (at around $165 each) and during the holiday season there's a rack devoted to unfashionable Christmas sweaters, but overall this isn't a cheesy outlet for theme party shopping. Jack's has been around, in some form or another, since 1975, and the clothes are divided by decade, from the '40s to '70s. Shoppers are likely to encounter finds throughout, like a '70s-era fur vest to a sexy, sequined bandeau bra. There's an entire room full of gently worn cowboy boots and handsome hats and belts. Another specialty section is devoted cocktail wear, with designer dresses organized by color.
