The BEST of VETS! 3/16/2012

I have been showing and raising Boston Terriers for almost 10 years now. I have used a few different vets for various reasons / needs but none compares to the staff and clinic of Cheaha Animal Hospital. Dr. Wyatt & Dr. Hendley are both just awesome! They treat their clients with respect and compassion and show a real love for animals; the way a vet should. Always available whenever I need them! If you are within any reasonable driving distance to Cheaha Animal Hospital, I highly recommend you allow them the opportunity to take care of your fur kids! more

Thanks to the staff 6/25/2010

This is not only a review but also a thank you to the entire staff of Cheaha Animal Hospital. \r On June 21st I brought my 10 year old German Shepherd Harley (former champion show dog/now retired) to the office to be checked due to after she had lost her full winter coat I noticed her belly area was very large and stuck out more so on her left side. During the winter months we thought she had put on extra pounds due to she was not spending much time outside due to the weather and her age. Her winter coat did not show us what was hiding beneath all that hair. \r Dr. Wyatt came into the exam room and began a full checkup on her. He was aware of her previous background medical conditions due to their excellent record keeping. After the physical exam he stated he had a 99% idea of what the problem was but needed an x-ray to confirm it. An x-ray was taken and the doctor called me back to look at it. He was very detailed in the explanation of what he saw. In short Harley had a tumor growing fr more

Puppy and Parvo 5/2/2010

As a person who has had cats and or dogs most of my life, I have never encounted a case of parvo until 2 weeks ago. I am battling breast cancer and had gotten behind on the shots for the puppy that I kept. I named him Buddy and he had just turned 4 months old on the 15th of April, exhibited symptoms to what I believed was parvo. The internet confirmed my fears. With a broken heart I took him to Dr. Hendley, expecting the worst but hoping for the best. After Dr. Hendley examined Buddy, gave him the parvo test, which came back positive. The alternative treatment was either to do at home or within the clinic. I chose the clinic and immediately Buddy was started on fluid and medicine. Within this time frame, I was able to visit my baby and it eased my heart but I knew Buddy was not completely out of the woods. \r \r With Dr. Hendley and staff, Buddy pulled through, with many a prayer I'm sure, and I got to bring him on on the next Monday. I must say with Cheaha Animal Clinic that I have yet more

Dr. Hendley is a gentle man and takes his time explaining everything. He not only cares about the animal but the owners also. He does not push anything down your throat and is a very sincere man. I am very thankful to have him as our vet. more

GREAT VET 12/11/2009

He is incredible! He never gets in a hurry and explains every detail about your pets problem. He has seen my schnauzer on several occassions and he is wonderful with my dog....I would never go to another vet! more

Experienced Doctors 2/27/2009

Dr. Hendley took my Rottie from birth, and saved his life with his experienced diagnosis that was missed by another Vet. prior to my adopting him. I trust Dr. Hendley's judgement. Doc. Hendley loves the animals he cares for, and can seem to remember them, even when he only sees them once a year. His "table-side" manor with the animals is outstanding. Once my Rottie had lasted his 15 years and 8 months on this earth, Doc Hendley was there once again. Then, after my grieving, Dr. Wyatt convinced me to adopt a dog from an unwanted litter. I am happy that he convinced me, because he turned out to be a delightful addition to my family. \r Caring and experienced Doctors. more
