I had used another investment advisor in the Portland area for years and recently switched my accounts to Charter Oak Capital Management. Not only have my investments done so much better, they really do a great job working with me to make sure my will is up to date, putting together my personal investment plan and looking after my retirement account. They are so nice-I feel like I am part of their family! I would highly recommend this firm for anyone seeking financial or investment advice.
Pros: They are an independent Maine based firm - not an out of state conglomerate
Cons: If you live up in Northern Maine, you have to travel to their Portland office
