I use Charter for my internet as well as our cable service too. It's not bad, I really have no complaints, other than I think it can get a little pricey when you go for the 10 meg download speed. Their network is pretty reliable, haven't had any real down time so far. The cost of cable modems have come down a lot, so opt out of renting their modem for a monthly fee and just spend 30-70 for a good one. Linksys makes a good line of equipment. If anyone out there on a dial up ever went to high speed, you would never go back to a dial up connection!
