The Charcoal Room

My husband and I met his aunt and her husband for dinner. They are regulars at the Charcoal room which we realized as soon as we walked in. The staff greeted us, hugged them and were so pleasant all evening. There was live jazz music which was a little loud, however really good. The food was amazing. I would recommend sharing as everything, including the sweet potato, could feed a small army. I got the pork chop. When it was placed in front of me, I thought it was two. However, it was one pork chop that was butterflied. Both sides were enormous. We were given a sampling of desserts since we were celebrating our anniversary. The cheesecake is to die for. When the check came, we split it. I was floored at the total for four people to have salad, entrees with sides, dessert, coffee, and wine. Very good value. The Charcoal Room, located in Santa Fe Station, in our opinion is one of the great restaurants in Las Vegas...on or off strip ! Friendly, efficient service, food quality, atmosphere, wine list...it has it all. You feel equally comfortable in casual or formal attire. The staff is there for your every need. Choose one of the comfortable booths, or a nice table by the fireplace...you just can't go wrong. If you have not been to The Charcoal Room, then you are missing a wonderful dining experience.
