Champagne French Bakery

I find this small French bakery and absolute delight. They do a fantastic job and have a great selection all at reasonable prices. This place is way better than the French gourmet. more

Good: The gentleman who took our order was very kind and nice (yes, i see them as two things :) Food was fresh and delicious, pastries are tasty and gourmet (i had chocolate meringue cookies). It's quaint and feels like I'm on a mini vacation when I eat there!. Bad: I've been there a few times and sometimes they're busy so some of the people working there might not be too nice. I liked the chocolate meringue cookies but they weren't what I was expecting... they're great if you like a lot of chocolate chips though! :o). Improvements: Seating area outside the Carmel Mtn. Rd. location is uneven and kind of tight. I am always on a slope when I sit outdoors. And people walking by brush up right next to you, not much sidewalk space. Wish they can reno the sidewalk there a little.. Other: I have had the quiche, french dip sandwich with fries, salads -- all of which were DELICIOUS and just made my mouth so happy! The company I work for has them cater for very special (high-profile) meetings and i sometimes try and snag a sandwich.. the food is delicious and always tastes really fresh!. more

Some of the highest quality pastries around. They use very high quality ingredients which shows. The price is high, but it is what you would expect from a high class, high quality place such as this. I recommend anything they carry with chocolate. It’s to die for. Make sure you eat them fresh however, once they get old, they just aren’t as good. more

Champagne Bakery, located in Carmel Mountain next to the Ralphs and McDonalds is a really cute cafe to go for a nice informal, but pleasant lunch. There's indoor and outdoor seating that patrons can enjoy and the food is delicious. It servces breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Its meals are usually displayed in a glass case so you can see the portions and what the food looks there. The dessert here is to die for because there's tons of chocolate cakes, pastries, and pies. The French atmosphere woudln't be complete without some baguette and some of their best items on the menu would be the sandwiches that are made from baguette. Soups and salads are my personal favorite. But you pay up front, therefore reducing the hassle of having to split the bill if you're dining with friends. It's yummy and cute! more

Champagnes knows how to do up a cake! I ordered their cake for a local business meeting. The cake was flaked with milke chocolate shavings and white chocolate shavings. It looked beautiful! They also have a website that you can sign up for their newsletter and print out a coupon for a free baguette. That was also pretty good. They serve breakfast that smells and looks great. I have not had a chance to taste it yet. They have omelettes and beautiful belgiun waffles! Restaruant is usually busy, but great! more
