I went to Cerritos Community College to take a couple general education classes during the summer. The first thing I want to say about them is that it reminds you of a high school, but just a bit bigger. After your first day on the campus, you literally can't get lost. Buildings are easily labeled and the campus is not that big. Some of the classroom buildings look kind of old from the outside, and are in dire need of remodeling. However, they have finished making a new building and it looks pretty nice. The food court for the school doesn't hold that many restaurants (maybe like 5?) and there are plenty of chairs and tables for students to sit aroudn while they eat. The food court also has televisions showing MTVU. The school has a mediocre arcade, having maybe like 10 to 15 games to play from. Parking is literally hell on the campus, even during the summer. Sometimes you might end up parking across the street just so you can have a spot. I can't really rate all the professors as a whole because I only took a couple classes during the summer. The professors I did have were excellent and might even be on par with a Cal State school. Overall, its not a bad college, but it's not a UC or Cal State.
