Words can't express the warm feelings my wife and I have for all of you. We are from SE Ohio and have been coming to HHI to vacation for over 25 years. We have never attended church while on vacation until about 3 years ago when we visited your church and have never been the same. I grew up in church as a child and have been a member of our home church for many years. I have served in many ministries as has my wife. We have never been greeted more warmly than when we visit your church. From our first visit 3 years ago to our visits once every 4-6 months we are treated like family. Pastor Carr and his Worship team refresh us so much that we can hardly wait to visit with you. I frequently talk about your church to our church leaders as an example; of what we would like to become. I know you all work really hard to provide such a loving, caring, fellowship of believers. When my wife and I moved to HHI we wanted to find a biblically based church with welcoming congregation and thoughtful caring leadership and that is just what we found at Central Church! From the time we walked in the door we were made to feel as if we belonged. All attendees are greeted warmly and the pastor went out of his way to get to know us. He has provide spiritual leadership and emotional support for us. His genuine caring for the affairs of the church and those who attend is demonstrated with each interaction. Services are inspirational with outstanding praise and worship music followed by the pastor's thoughtful and God filled message. We could not be happier with having been led to Central Church. more

From the time we pulled into the parking lot and throughout the entire service we felt welcomed. The regular members gladly greeted us and the pastor went out of his way to say hello and make genuine conversation with us. The service began with spirited praise and worship and was followed by the pastor's message which was biblically based, was relevant to every day life and really generated some lively conversation between my wife and me during lunch. We really felt we had experienced something special. You will see us back there on our next trip to Hilton Head more

I just moved to the area and was very uncertain about finding a new church. But I was very happy when I arrived to see people that were excited about what was happening in their church. I sat with some people that I had just met in the lobby. The music was phenomenal and the sermon spoke to my heart! When the new friends I sat with in the service took me to meet their kids we walked through the facility and church members were friendly throughout the entire building! I'm not going to look for another church, I feel right at home! more

Definately one of the best churches I've been to. The people were friendly and the message was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this church to anyone who is moving into the area and is looking for a home church! more

This church has a very active and lively membership. It is associated with the Church of God, of Cleveland, Tn. They offer a full range of activities for the whole family. The Sunday morning service is contemporary with a full band and praise team. All are welcome. There is a nursery provided. more
