I'm surprised that Dr. Cenk is so highly rated. He was fine, but his staff made me feel like a criminal. I visited him at his Cranberry Township location in December because I was having neck pain. I had just switched jobs and hadn't yet enrolled in my new insurance plan, although I was covered as of my first day of employment. He scheduling/billing staff really made me feel like a deadbeat. I was dealing with a lot at that time: a new job, neck pain, the holidays, etc., but all they seemed to care about was when they would get their money. I received several nagging phone calls asking if I had my health insurance information to give them yet. It wasn't up to me: I had to wait for my company and the health insurance company to process my enrollment information, especially since it was December and they had to enroll me for both 2015 and 2016. I paid $20 each time I visited and then received a bill for an additional $100+ after the insurance adjustment. The bill came in the mail on Saturday, I mailed the payment on Monday, and got a call from the office on Tuesday about the bill. It's a shame that no-one tried to work with me to see if I was interested in paying the doctor directly for services for a negotiated fee (even though putting the fees through my health insurance will still count towards the maximum in my high-deductible plan and now that I have it set up I could pay from my HSA.) I really was put off by the aggressive, money-grubbing attitude of the staff, and the implication that I wasn't to be trusted to pay up! So they'll get approximately $160 from me and no more. I'll go elsewhere, and see if I can find an office that is more flexible and understanding.
