Pronounced Kel' tic, this fine establishment is an any day of the week hot spot for locals within a five town radius. The people are friendly, the beer is cold and cheap, the food, a.k.a. ""Pub Grub"", is minimal but suprisingly good, and the Long Islands are pints!
The Celtic has an obvious Irish influence which can be found in the owners accent as well as in the jukebox that can be found playing America's favorite Irish tunes any night of the week. The Pub is in definite need of a refurb job and may not be the cleanest place, but for Pawtucket, you couldn't ask for more.
Besides the Red Sox minor league team, The Celtic Pub is thed best Pawtucket has to offer.
Pros: service, inexpensive, patrons
Cons: outdated decor, single pool table
