Awesome authentic Mexican food. The nachos are the best I've had in a really long time. The fajitas (chicken is my favorite) are also delicious... served on a steaming hot platte...

Worst

I decided to try this restaurant on Saturday night, and was extremely disappointed with both the service and the food. I ordered a bowl of guacamole which seemed like a pretty goo...

Gosh, this is one of my favorite places to hang out and have some good authentic enchiladas! While you're waiting for your food, they serve up some chips along with two kinds of salsas and during happy hour, they have some beer and magarita specials. Of course, I never can make it in time for the happy hour specials though! The service does tend to be a little slow as typically there is only 2 waiters but the food is more than worth the wait. Parking is pretty ok too. more

I love this place 8/11/2005

I remember this place twenty years ago, when it was packed and my mom wouldn't let me eat there. Now that I can pay my own way in, I love it here> the nachos are great, and it's a good place for the whole family to go to. I love the tacos and enchiladas so much. Try the nachos! One of the best Mexican restaurants in the city if you ask me. Great service, and it goes back years and years. One of those secret SF places most tourists don't know about. more

Wow, authentic food! 8/11/2005

This place serves some seriously rockin' mexican food. As with all mexican restaurants, they offer free chips and salsa with every meal. They have 2 types of salsa, the mild green and the hot red ones. I always order their enchilada and taco dinner platter and that is just perfect to stuff me up with a beer to go with it. They offer happy hour specials on beers and magaritas too. The table wait is pretty quick. I think the longest I had to wait was about 10 minutes. more
