CD Island has a huge selection of new and used movies and music. Their new prices are fair (a little more than chain stores, but sometimes it feels good to help a local business out) but their used prices are just absurd.
Last week, I went in looking for a specific DVD and found that they had 4 used copies of it available. My first complaint is that all 4 had varying prices in a $6 range -- but my second complaint is that all 4 were still priced HIGHER than a new copy would cost me at almost any other store.
Needless to say, I left without making a purchase. The prices were much more competitive when this store used to be a part of the national CD Warehouse chain, now it is truly a last resort when I am searching for a CD or DVD.
