A few minor things needed to be fixed after we moved in last month, and they did everything promised. The application process to rent out the place was pretty simple, and they were kind the entire time. I wish every management company was like CCL. more

In the time I have used CCL management they have been very good about keeping up with things and keeping people in my rental. They are easy to talk to and get answers from. I like that they are very accessible. more

Unresponsive, unreliable, unprofessional. Very thorough in obtaining the account. Less thorough looking for renters.Even less reliable with repairs. Will not be using CCL again. more

We have used CCL Management for my rental property 2.5 years, They have provided Professional, dependable and trustworthy service from first contact on. The prospective buyer jumped sale the week final papers were to be signed on sale of my house. All my furniture had been moved out and I was in process of relocating out of state. Needless to say, I was in a very complicated dilemma. I was referred to CCL Management. CCL Management/Mike Crute came to my rescue. He spent ample time getting to me know me as a person and then a landlord. He/(and team) handled every bit of paperwork and screened potential renters. The renters Mike has placed in my home have been respectful of my home and prompt with all payments. If there is a problem at the house, Mike deals with it and I am notified per agreement. My experience with CCL Management has been 100% positive in every regard. I find Mike and the entire staff to be professional, friendly and prompt. Called on a rental - it was available, then it wasn't, then it was. Went to see it - totally unready for renting. SOOOO over-priced. The place sat empty all winter. Now their sign is down and the place is still vacant. The owners must have given up. I know I did. Pros: Office is in a nice building Cons: Yes, I think they are.... more

I have recently relocated to the Madison area from the suburbs of Chicago and had no idea what to expect when looking for a place to rent. Have been a homeowner since 1987 and renting again was not in my plan. After being turned down for an apartment closer to the UW campus I found myself having to find housing within 48 hours. I contacted Mike and his staff to take another look at a unit I had originally considered in July that was still available. Needless to say, I am a resident of a unit on the southwest side of Madison and am delighted with the space. They helped me during a very stressful time and made moving to Madison a breeze. All my concerns and calls for information have been addressed. Everyone at CCL has been courteous, thorough and professional. When you call and leave a message, they actually call you back! I don't know what I would have done without them. Thanks to all. Give them a call. Good people = Good Business They're really good at what they do! Pros: Open door policy to assist in any way. Do not rent from these people. None of the agreed upon maintenance was finished before we moved in. We have angry neighbors due to a shouting match that happened between the owner of the company about a toppled over retaining wall that had fallen over into the neighbors property. I have never been treated so poorly by a landlord in my entire life. As the previous writer had shared ruth is not a happy person who likes to be mean and rude on the telephone. She had set up utilities in my name before our move in date without my consent. Also the owner of the company called me at my place of employment demanding to speak to my boss...(what does he have to do with my rental agreement anyway...) yelling and swearing at me calling me names and being extremely derogatory twords me. This phone call was placed due to me calling to figure out what happened to a rent check that the company had lost. I am sure they had misplaced it due to the fact that one of the two checks (mailed in the same envelope) was recieved. They refused to pay my cancelled check fee and told me that by me trying to speak with them (I was hung up on 3 seperate times) was a reason for them to send the police to my place of employment to file harassment charges. And believe me...this isnt all. They also have no understanding of renters rights. Like giving a 24 hr notice to enter your premises which is the law in the city of Madison. etc...etc...etc... This place should be shut down. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
