Great Doctor - Horrible / Mismanaged Staff 8/17/2010

Love my Dr but staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Front desk is almost ""sullen"" at check in and has attitude of ""who cares?"". Calling in to follow up as requested by Dr. is also a nightmare. ""Message"" gal misinterprets message - be prepared for numerous calls as the Dr.'s nurse either doesn't get the message or just doesn't return the call and personal visits to the office to get response becomes necessary. If this medical facility was an ""ordinary"" private company, it would be out of business in a hurry. This office could use email for patient communication with either doctor or their nurses and save everybody a lot of aggravation. more

Wonderful and Caring 7/28/2010

I was referred to Dr. Cathcart by a friend who was seeing him. She noticed that I was having the same symptoms as she was, and recommended him very highly. \r Dr. Cathcart is wonderful. He takes the time to explain and answer each and every one of my questions, and I can tell that he truly cares about his patients. Since then I have found out that he is tops in his field. Yes, Dr. Cathcart's tests said that I do have the same condition as my friend (metabolic syndrome or Syndrome X), however when I told my regular physician at the Physician's Clinic, I was told there was no such condition. Boy was he wrong! Dr. Cathcart was way ahead of the regular medical community. I'm grateful. Pros: Caring, Kind, and Considerate more

Pick another office 6/16/2010

Office staff is incompetent. Messes everything up, appointments, prescriptions, etc. Dr's. can't even remember writing a prescription for you. Office looks like it's 50 yrs old, needs a major overhaul. Front desk staff is rude with no sense of humor, and nurses are not much better. For an office that has one of the top Diabetes doctors in Spokane, this place sucks. Cons: Everything more
