Castlebury Dental

HUGE lesson learned - DO NOT go to a dentist out of convenience, be willing to travel for the reputable ones whose priority is patient care not advertising. I have never been more regretful going to a ""professional"" than I am with this guy. I agree completely with both Anisa W and Hawaiimassage916. In addition to what they said, my needs were NEVER met the first time around, I continually had to go back in to fix something that wasn't addressed the first time. After I got my braces off my teeth weren't polished nor was the cement removed all the way. I would rather wait for my insurance to pay for my next cleaning then go back to that place. His whole 'car giveaway' was a total scam, we wasted a precious Friday night as we were told we were 'finalists'. When we arrived to the movie theatre we were handed a yellow ticket, which yellow were never actually in the running, the red ones were. If it wasn't a scam they would have let the 'finalists' pick their own color ticket. As a parting gift we received a trial size mouthwash and two movie tickets, which didn't work when we tried to use them a few weeks later - gross. My other two family members were told they needed periodontal cleanings, which they said resembled a regular cleaning just a whole lot more expensive and a less impressive outcome. The insurance girl needs to be sent to insurance and customer service training. My teeth are worse now than after having his so-called braces - my bite is off now, which may require 'real' braces in the future. I had to go to another orthodontist to have 'real' retainers made because this dentist expected me to wear bleach trays out in public. As a 'congratulations' gift for spending $3000 on these braces I got a balloon and a bag of tootsie rolls - what dentist gives out sticky, sugary candy?...THIS ONE does!!! I was told my secondary insurance didn't cover adult braces, which they would have after a year. I would have been more than happy to wait. Buyer beware! more

This dentist is a crook!! He told my husband he had 9 cavities so we had the X-rays faxed to another dentist who had years more experience and turns out he only had 4!! Castlebury Dental is only in it for the money. He gives new customers gifts and sends out a newsletter about his fabulous cruise with his family....NEWS FLASH! No one wants to hear about the way you're spending all the money you get from patients who aren't smart enough to get a second opinion! Do not go to this guy! He'll fleece you! more

We took 3 of our young children in, two of them for the first time, to Castlebury Dental and they all asked if they could go back. Dr. Brown was so good and patient with each of them, and Jane made each of them feel comfortable and excited to be there. I felt like the service we received from the time we arrived until we left was exceptional. Jane in particular was so good with my kids and in helping me to understand billing procedures and scheduling questions. I highly recommend Castlebury Dental to anyone looking for a dentist. more

Initial exam, xrays, cleaning. Outstanding facility and staff. I liked the massage chairs - very relaxing. Dr. Brown is a professional and his excellent staff and facility reflect that. more

They have updated equipment to serve their customers needs very qquickly, I was very impressed about the whole experience, the staff is knowledgable and very friendly and talked and listened and made me feel very comfortable. They all were very sincere, and treated me very well. I appreciate what they do and how they do it. If you need a family dentist he is the one to see, he is confident, he is calming, and very gentle with his patients. more

I was first introduced to Castlebury Dental through one of their flyers. It just so happened the day before I had broken a molar tooth and needed to have it extracted. I called them and had an appointment within 2 hours. Their staff was friendly, curtious, and very professional. Their was no lecturing & no criticism. Dr. Brown is the most gentle & thorough dentist I have ever used. The extraction went so smooth & was over in no time. I will definitly use Dr. Brown for all my future dental needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good dentist. Their fees are very resonable as well. So if you need dental care go see Dr. Brown at Castlebury Dental, you'll be glad you did! more

I brought 3 kids 3 and under to my dentist appointment since I couldn't find a babysitter for my 18 month old twins. The kids were a handful, to say the least, but the staff was super helpful in entertaining my children as I was having my teeth cleaned and examined. They were also good with my 3 year old who had his teeth cleaned. He wasn't nervous there at all. A very pleasant experience. The office is brand new with nice new equipment as well. The only thing that would have made the visit better would be if we didn't have cavities to be filled. But I think I have had these cavities for a couple years and my previous dentist didn't find them even though I told him my tooth had been extra sensitive. more

My first appointment with Castlebury Dental was a wonderful experience all in all. I would only recommend the appointment running shorter in length. Even for a new patient appointment, it was too long. They were friendly and professional and thorough. more

BAD ATTITUDES VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. RECEPTIONIST IS PROBABLY THE RUDEST PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER COME IN CONTACT WITH. AFTER WAITING OVER AN HOUR AFTER OUR APPOINTMENT WE SIMPLY ASKED IF WE WHERE GOING TO BE SEEN SOON SINCE OUR APPOINTMENT WAS AN HOUR AGO. HER RESPONSE WAS " YOU HAVE ONLY WAITED AN HOUR SO WHATS THE PROBLEM" WE LET HER KNOW THAT SHE WAS RIDE AND WE WOULD BE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW HOW WE WHERE TREATED BY HER AND SHE RESPONDED IN A RUDE WAY BY SAYING "GOOD PLEASE DO!!" SO WE WILL CONTINUE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT HER AND THE WAY WE WHERE TREATED. Everyone at Castlebury are pleasant to talk to and provide a relaxing visit to the dentist. My most recent procedure, a root canal, was so painless that I wasn't even sure that I had really had the work done in the first place. more
