Worst

I have been to Casa Mono many times and every time after having enjoyed great food and a nice bottle of wine, I would walk away with an aftertaste left by outrageously rude hostes...

Disappointing 10/31/2005

I have to tell you that I was looking forward to trying this relatively new Mario Batali restaurant and I left 220 poorer and burnt on the experience. I went with one other person...we both got the tasting menu - he with wine - and there was NOTHING in the 6 courses that I would ever try again. Terrible and what a waste of money. I don't especially mind spending 100 per person if the meal is memorable for the right reasons...but this is a a restaurant I cannot recommend. more
