I had the pleasure of visiting the Carter-Clark House recently; I discovered that it was built in the early 1900's, around 1905, in history-rich Berrien County, Georgia, just a block off the county's town sqare, where its courthouse, built in 1898 stands.
The bed and breakfast is a unique experience, having 5 guest rooms available, at a very reasonable rate of around $50 per night at the time of this review. All of the rooms have wonderful antique furnishings, and all rooms have a private bath, phone, cable television, and a key to the back door for a totally private experience.
The breakfast is continental style, but, as the operator told me, most people are up and out pretty early, and tend to visit one of the local establishments for breakfast. Lunch is served, for $6, Monday through Friday, and includes a nice, fresh, small salad bar, soup and the special of the day, and dessert and drink.
