Quick and Easy 12/15/2012

I have purchased 3 cars in the last couple of years and this was hands down the best experience I have had. I was expecting to be at the dealership for hoursssss, like I have been in the past, but once Patrick helped me find the right vehicle, a Dodge Ram truck, I was out of there in no time. I will be giving Patrick a call when my daughter needs a vehicle in the next year and I hope the next process goes just as smoothly. more

I stopped here this last weekend to look at the new Traverse. After doing my own research I thought this was the perfect vehicle that would fit my lifestyle but after visiting for awhile with the sales consultant we figured out that the Suburban would fit me and my family better than the Traverse would. This is the first dealership that I have been to that has salaried sales people and it shows. Patrick seemed genuinely interested in finding me the perfect vehicle rather than trying to just sell me something expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed this purchase and this will be the first place I go when I need another vehicle. more

Stress Free Experience 12/11/2012

My husband and I purchased a new Silverado from Carr and it was unlike any experience we have ever had at a car dealership. The sales consultant, Patrick Beck, was extremely helpful,spent several hours with us making sure we found the perfect vehicle and not once did we feel pressured to make a purchase. I caught Mike Gallegoes abusing my Corvette. They have damage my friends car. They damaged a guy I first met at the local car show (I saw he gouge in his rocker panel from their lift). They abused me with their mocking on how they ran my car and it's new HP engine. more


UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES!?! Buyer beware... Bought a used car in February. When I bought the car, he made a commitment that if there were any issues "" Engine Light"" or ""a thingy"" with the car, to bring it back and he would make it right/fix it. The engine light came on after driving it for three days so we returned the car to be repaired. They said they fixed it and returned it to me. This went on for a few weeks of bringing the car in because each time they gave it back there was still something wrong with it. I had to constantly call and check up because they where not returning calls promptly or following through with commitments. Turns out the head was warped and it would be $1,000.00 repair they asked me to return the car and wanted to put me into something else to ""make it right"". We went to the dealership on a Sunday and the Salesman was 1.5 hour late to our meeting time. We went back and forth on a few cars that cost over 2 times as much as my original purchase price and the whole time they keep trying to tell me how much they were helping me out by getting me into car that I couldn't afford after a while I thought we where about to make a deal even though it was for a lot more money, I just wanted to get the thing over and move forward. When my father in law asked if we could have a couple days to check if we where legally doing the rite thing, let's just say they did not like that and said they had no obligation to help us, that we needed to take the original car home and that they would not be repairing the car. We where on our own. I would never do business the way they did and am very sad and disappointed in this whole experience. It was my first time buying a car and I was so excited, but now I just feel like I got RIPPED off. more

As a retired autobody technician,I know cars. I also know car lots and the inside of car buying. I have to say that these guys really go the extra mile for thier customers. Mike Smith and the guys really went all out,even following us home to the coast at 10pm to unload the table we had bought that day from the truck we traded in on our 2011 Camaro! Customer service just doesn't get much better than that! Thier service dept is outstanding also. I do not hesitate in refering my friends and family,as well as my clientele to CARR AUTO GROUP! My car buying experience with them was relatively smooth but once you walk off their lot, do not expect any assistance especially from their finance dept which was subpar. They?ve given me wrong info and did not bother to call back when we?ve asked to verify. After we?ve purchased a vehicle from them, the salesman shove his business cards down our throat all the while saying ?if you have questions or any concerns give me a call? but he does not mean it. You?re on your own even if they?ve screwed up your paperwork. more

I had the best salesman when Robb Sloan approached me to help me find a car. I was nervous and he made a joke about his business card, telling me that all I had to do was point it towards the other salesmen and they would leave me alone. I had to laugh. Robb spent the next 2 1/2 days helping me find just the right car for me. He ran back and fourth so many times I was feeling sorry for taking so much of his time. But he told me I was the number 1 person and he would stay with me until the right car was found. He also put up with my son, who has also been a car salesman. My son was a bit pushy, making sure Carr Chevrolet did their best for me. (But I love my son, he's always looking out for me.) We finally settled for a 2002 Buick Le Sabre. I paid $7,000 for a car that was originally $11,000. And I love the car. It's perfect for me. Anyway, to make a long story short, I would tell all my friends and family to go to Carr Chevy World for their next car. And make sure to ask more

We have purchased cars from CARR chevy for 11 years now. We have had awesome experience each and everytime we purchase a car. We recently purchased a 2007 Denali and something went wrong with it and we had to have it towed to CARR Chevy. After, checking everything they found that the battery was defective and they totally replaced it no questions asked. They paid for the towing too!! We LOVE CARR CHEVY and will continue to purchase cars from them. The guys there are very helpful and really try to get to know you and what your car needs are before they sell you something that won't work for the family needs. We would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new or used car this is the place to go. Hey ~\r \r I wanted to take a moment and say thank you. Too many times all we do as consumers is complain. Rarely do we take the time to recognize the efforts of good people and the service they provide. My wife & I purchased a Chevy Suburban about a year ago. It's a great vehicle. As the primary driver, my wife loves the ride and so do the kids. More importantly to me was (& still is) the service that Carr Chevy provides. We've brought the vehicle in for it's various oli changes, check ups and/or simple questions. The team @ Carr Chevy always approaches us with energy, a positive attitude and phenomenal service. So much so, I almost took my 2002 Honda Accord in to them to change the oil. Herb, working with David is awesome! He listened to my concerns and resolved them. They first found the reason for the squeaking in the dash/airbag area. It was caused by a failed pinch weld that wasn?t pinched welded correctly from the factory? Must have been one of those stoned robots! But in doing that they created a few more noises. That is why I had it back in again. I haven?t had it out on the freeway to see if it?s all resolved.. Traffic coming home I never got over 45 mph the entire way home? crazy traffic and weather that Thursday afternoon. \r \r \r \r When dropping off the HHR I told David that my windshield has a dent in it. Causing the wipers to make excessive noise and a streaking across vision area. Yes a dent Herb! When I dropped it off Monday I went out and gave the 2010 HRR?s on the lot a touch test on the windshield?s and I didn?t find a one that felt like our HHR?s windshield?..
