Lane is amazing. After being out of the work force for 12 years, I was able to obtain a job after having Lane revamp my resume after not achieving success using my old resume. I quickly found a job 4 miles from my home, with a Monday through Friday schedule, good pay, vacation, 401k, and pension. I'd highly recommend Lane to anyone. more

Lane is absolutely wonderful! I was in need of a CV in a short amount of time span as I was moving abroad, and Lane was very understanding of my time limit and worked with me both in person and through email given my circumstances. During my visit with her, Lane asked specific questions to help highlight my past in school, volunteer work, and jobs and I was greatly satisfied with the final product. I plan to use my CV for graduate school applications as well as for my job search in the United Kingdom (once I receive my 'National Insurance Number' and am legally eligible to work). As other reviewers have said, I highly recommend Lane. more

With about 18 years in the workforce Lane is the first Resume Writer I have worked with, and I am so glad I found her. I had been going through an 'interview drought', but after working with Lane, I sent 4 resumes, got 3 interviews, 2 offers and 1 job. The process made a lot of sense: Lane asked questions by email, I provided answers that she used for writing a first draft. I provided feedback got a second draft and my resume was done. I still put in some hours, but having an objective professional 'word smith' your content and advise on what should be included, eliminated and highlighted proved very valuable. Thank you, Lane! more

I found Career Resume Service right here on Citysearch a few weeks ago, and I am back to make sure I continue to pass the word about this fantastic place. The process was made painless by Lane, even though I continually peppered her with questions. I was impressed with the resume itself; a great format, and able to meet all the requirements of the modern age of job searching. Despite having an extensive education myself, I know when to let the experts in their field do their thing! Turn around time was great, pricing more than reasonable. Lane cohesively and successfully revamped my tired resume. I have been out of the professional workforce for 5 years, taking a ""break"" to serve tables. Lane took on a seemingly impossible task -- in a matter of two days! -- to format a resume that presents me as the educated, driven individual that I am. At 29, I never thought there'd be a way to hide behind all of the time I lost in the service industry - Lane created a resume that highlights my strengths throughout my work experience, in addition to my educational accomplishments. I found Lane before computers existed (!) and have used her ever since whenever my resume needed updating or I was making a career change. Most recently, she helped me with my website language and marketing. Lane has consistently been outstandingly professional yet extremely fun. I had been working for my company for 17 years & was working in my industry for over 25 years when they started moving jobs overseas! I did not want to be that 50 something guy without a job... After getting no response from multiple applications with my resume I went to Lane for a re-write & advice.She took all of the same information that I had, re-organized it & added key words that employers are looking for. Within a few weeks responses started coming back which resulted in several interviews and ultimately a new job with a substantial increase in my salary. I would recommend her to anyone in a similiar situation! more

SYNOPSIS: -I met with Lane. -She asked all the right questions. -She redid my resume. -I got the new version a day or two later. -I submitted it to the best job I could find the night I received it. -I got a call the next day. -Interviewed the day after. -Interviewed again a week after that. I GOT THE JOB. THEY LOVED MY RESUME. I'M GETTING PAID A LOT MORE THAN MY LAST JOB. I have no idea why I never did this before. It is worth every penny. Lane is amazing. After procrastinating about the need for a resume and being daunted by the mere thought, I contacted Lane. My experience of this woman has been nothing but positive. When I first approached her I was in exploration mode only. Still, she was full of tips and advice, not to mention passion for the subject. Her knowledge base is current and broad. Her generosity of spirit is immediately apparent. By the time I was ready to do the deed, I'd moved to a neighboring state. The distance did not hinder the process at all. She draws you into a collaboration that feels easy. Lane produced a resume that makes my long and varied work history appear cohesive and relevant. The cost felt like a stress for our family but Lane works for her money, and her service is well worth it. What I spent in dollars I saved in angst and time. Now I feel like I can move forward in a more powerful and effective manner, thanks to Lane. more
