Care Chiropractic - Sean R. Dunkle, DC

I've been going to Dr. Dunkle for years, he always gets me going again when I'm in pain and can't straighten up. He's also not afraid to get in there and move what needs moving, and doesn't use that useless spring loaded activator thing that most chiros are using now. He's got a great sense of humor, and I wouldn't go to anyone else! more

I relocated to Iowa in June 2008 after getting married. I had been seeing a great chiropractor back in Pittsburgh, Pa and was worried about finding a good one in Iowa. Any fears I had disappeared after my initial meeting with Dr. Dunkle. His open and engaging personality made it obvious that he truly cared about the well being of his patients first and foremost. No matter what back or neck problems I have at any particular visit, Dr. Dunkle is always able to relieve me of the pain. Dr. Dunkle is also very prompt in keeping his appointment time. In the 5+ years I have been his patient, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to wait past my appointment time. In my opinion there is no better chiropractor in the Marion/Cedar Rapids area. As long as Dr. Dunkle is practicing, he will be my chiropractor. more

Dr. Dunkle has been a blessing to our family. He has been taking care of all of us for a couple years now and has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions. He has come in on Sundays and squeezed us in between appointments. He has also always been honest with how often we need to make appointments, often leaving it up to our discretion. Dr. Dunkle is excellent on many levels. First and foremost, he cares about his patients. He is motivated by helping each of us get well. Second, it's not about the money. If you don't need a second treatment, he won't encourage you to set one up. I think that is one of things that I respect most about him - his integrity. Third, he knows his stuff. For someone like me who is leary about having someone manipulate my body, I have complete trust in him. And finally, he understands sports, and for us, that is important. Dr. Dunkle is DC for our whole family. He's done such a good job on my back that I don't get to visit him very often. When I do, he remembers all our family members and wants to catch up on all the news. My husband has been involved in several car accidents and has a very bad neck that Sean tends to regularly. I've been going to Dr. Dunkle for probably 3 years now. I've had other chiropractors, but I've had the best results at Care Chiropractic. When my back condition was not improving he told me to see my family Dr. to further diagnose my problem. After x-rays and an MRI it was found that I have mild arthritis, two bulged discs and some other problems. I've now between research and recommendations we've finally got my back to a more stable condition. He listens to my feedback on what adjustment methods worked the best for ME. He's always personable. He gets to know you as a person - hobbies, interests, etc. You're not just another patient at Care Chiropractic. Karen, the receptionist, is also very personable and helpful as well. It's always a pleasant experience. more
