I have been a resident in one of their communities for over 20 years. I have had HORRIBLE service for the entire time. I have NEVER had a good experience with this company. Recently I called and left 2 messages and emailed the Rep the CEO and the Presdient and have had not communiaction from them for the last 72 hours.\r I am closing on the sale of my home after 20 years and the fees they charge to do that are amazing. PLEASE BE AWARE that when you sell your home they willl charge you somewhere between $625.00 and $925.00 for what seems like not much work. I have called and emailed for explaination and NOONE will call or email you back. One of the best things about selling the home is being done with this company. Good Luck in the future\r more

I work in real estate and have deal with several HOA management companies on a daily basis. In all the years of doing so, it is extremely rare to find a service representative who enjoys their job and genuinely portrays this happiness through the phone and their actions. Cardinal has an exceptional representative named Kristen Rodriguez who exemplifies customer service at its finest! She is quick to respond, courteous and truly knows what customer service is all about. Kristen makes me have hope that customer service is an art and not all hope is lost that people really care and want to give you their best efforts available. These people wrote the book on BAD customer service. How can a terrible place like this stay in business in this economy. I emplore anybody to call this company, guaranteed you will get a recording. They are afraid to talk to a consumer because all they receive are complaints. They have the fools on the board of the Summertree complex in Stanton, CA fooled into thinking they are a reputable company. Such a sad and pathetic company. more

The representative from their company for our association is very confident, knowledgable and respectful and has always demonstrated professionalism in crisis situations with leadership and strength. We have been working with Tawnya Guimond and staff at Cardinal and we have had a great experience. They are always very professional and courteous and respond in a prompt manner. We deal with a lot of property mgmt companies and it can get difficult but Cardinal knows what they're doing and makes our job easier so we just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work! more

A property management company who cares!!! 4/18/2012

Cardinal has been our property management company for several years. As a home owner and a board member, we are pleased with the products and services they provide for us. They are quick to research new vendors for us, offer many solutions to our association to save us money & time. They are very resourceful. Maryanne is our property manger & always goes the extra mile for every for our association. We have also been service by Janet who did an outstanding job for us. We are a waterfront community with additional needs. Maryanne has gone above expectations to learn about the requirements of the Marina and its needs. Maryanne is a great representation of the type of people Cardinal employes. I recommend Cardinal for your property management needs! more

Whenever you call, always voice mail, no one will talk to you and solve your problem. no matter you call or email to them, they never contact you back. I wounder is any one work there? I contact them for more then 4 times, finaly got somone to talk to, but she knows nothing about the property they are managed. more

Terrible Service at the Office 6/14/2010

Very difficult to get good service, front desk was swamped with calls and only one person to man the phones. Update: Still waiting for a month after closing escrow for them to give me my keys to laundry etc. Tried in person but said they did not have all paperwork necessary. I even left a deposit with them. Severe termite damage on the balcony required my lender to actually go there in person to insist that it was done in a timely manner for my loan to fund. I asked 3 weeks ago for the new wood to be painted. ONLY the wood visible from the ground level was painted... not the inside or tops of the boards... I can't even believe this is really happening when I pay >$400 month in fees to these jerks. Furthermore every time I call I get sent to a voice mail or told by any live person that this issue is ""Not their job"". I've NEVER experienced such an unprofessional group of people. Pros: not much Cons: bad attitude at front desk, not helpful more

Cardinal Property Management is the most unprofessional property management company that I have ever dealt with. They routinely fail to address issues submitted to them, or brought up during association meetings. Their ""emergency"" contact number is a joke. A neighbor of mine was without water for over 11 hours because Christina (the on-call representative) was not answering her phone. Christina's manager, Bruce, also failed to answer his phone. The property management company's after-hours call center had to contact the plumber directly to perform the repairs. In a nutshell, Cardinal Property Mangagement is a not worth the fees they charge for their service. On a 1 - 10 scale, they would receive a 1 from me. Not happy in Anaheim 9/8/2008

As a former city reporter and community columnist for The Orange County Register, I've seen some pretty low tactics performed at the public level on private citizens, but Cardinal Property Management's handling of a recent private property matter rates among the lowest. Without a hearing, and ignoring my request to hear from my landscape contractor, they cut my tree down and billed me for it because they said it was pushing up the fence. Another palm tree they declared dead. Not true. Pros: CPM figured out the palm tree was living. Cons: Private property insensitive. Expensive. Poor planners. Lousy customer service. more

Great Customer Service 8/18/2008

I was surfing this site for restaurant reviews and thought I'd see if my hoa's manager was listed. Our association has been with Cardinal for over ten years and so far, so good. Everyone has their bad days, but I can honestly say that in all of my dealings with Cardinal I've never experienced the sort of response businessmom related. Cardinal's staff has always been courteous to me and their customer service gal has taken care of any problems I have had. We've never had any problems with their accounting either. Great credentials, limited customer service 1/7/2008

Not too impressed with the customer service or lack of individual thinking. Staff is generally in a hurry to brush you off or move you to a different department. No one in the office seems to hold any real authority or the capability to make an executive decision. One receptionist which is rarely there gives exceptional customer service and truly listens. The only downfall is that she's rarely there. Staff seems to be good at saying ""I don't know, I just work here"". They're good at handling budget planning but can't provide good customer service to homeowners in HOA's. Left a bad impression on me when I first moved into the community. Pros: Clean, modern building Cons: Need more people to answer phones more
