No longer the Caravel Seafood restaurant, this is now another one of those many Latino restaurants that are all over Charlotte. The service was responsive, the prices were reasonable, and the food was average. Latin music on the jukebox, Telemundo on the TV and Corona posters hanging from the cielings. Considering that we wanted seafood - not just shrimp or fried tilapia - we were disappointed. I'm afraid that our regular Mexican place on South Boulevard does it better. And yes, I'm sure that we were in the right place - the nautical themed accents from the Caravel days were still there.
Pros: Mexican style done okay
Cons: No more seafood!
