The first thing to notice as you enter this lovely restaurant, perched above some pretty fancy pleasure boats and overlooking the reproduction sailing ship The Friendship, is the genuine warm welcome from whomever is at the desk at the time. Throughout Spring and Summer the upstairs deck is open, even if they must roll down the heavy plastic curtains to protect from passing showers. By the way, there is a miniscule elevator to go from first to second floor! Pros: Excellent food, service, cocktails, wine list Cons: October crowds can make parking very difficult. more

Had a late lunch 8/9/2006 with my wife, middle of my work day end of hers. The food was well prepared and very good. Our waiter was excellent and was well compensated for his professionalism. The hostess is what has ruin our experience as to not return. Prior to seating us she was making a lenghly comment on our ""time limit"" due to the balcony area was a commody and needed a ""quick"" turn-around. The balcony area was not half full and the interior, both levels, had no customers at all. I did obviously suppress my anger and surprise to her rudeness. At our exit I did make comment to her and she was oblivious to her actions and made yet another rude comment with a fake smile. NEVER AGAIN............
