Canine Camp Pet Resort

I have 2 dogs which play regularly at Canine Pet Resort and always have fun. The owner is caring, treats them as her own, and provides added value (i.e., will text me a picture of my dogs, made dog treats for the holidays, provides discounts, etc.). I find that all too many people provide negative reviews and rarely positive ones. I know the facts to the bad review listed below and beg to differ. Caring for your dog starts with the owner and being honest with any pet care facility to ensure the safety of your dog and other dogs. If your dog gets along with other dogs, is friendly and playful, never been in a fight and cant scale or jump fences then this is the place I recommend for your camper. It is unique in that my dogs aren't stuck in a cage for hours on end and there are no extra fees for special play time. more

I brought my 10-month old English Bulldog puppy to Canine Pet Resort in Jackson, NJ for a two-night stay. When I picked him up he had 6 places where he had missing hair patches, "road rash" on both sides of his face, and when the vet shaved three different areas he had three horrible "hotspots" One behind his ear is awful. This is due to UNSUPERVISED playtime. My dog's face was wet, then in a cold environment, and then the bacteria set in. I dropped him off while the owner's "partner" was present and did not have a good feeling. When I brought Truman over to the owner this morning, she made excuses, made no attempt at remuneration, and I now have $100 in vet bills so far. more
