Best

I have been a client of Campus Vet since the mid 80s and have always found them to be compassionate, thorough and extremely helpful. I can't say I've really gone price shopping, b...

Worst

Filthy office, the staff was competent, the services were okay, but the place was dirt and then some. There are other veterinarians out there to choose from.

User review by mugzeezfolks 3/13/2006

The Campus Veterinary Clinic cared for our dog Mugsy for 13 years and their gentle approach with our dog was greatly appreciated. The facility is very clean. From the cliincal standpoint Both Dr. Berger and Dr. Yen always gave me clear and concise information about how to care for my Mugsy. Pros: receptive staff, no hidden cost issues, contact you promptly Cons: n/a, n/a, n/a more

This one time... 10/31/2005

I had a housemate who used to bike to and from campus. Anyhow, one day he was rounding a corner and some car pulled out into him allowing him to faceplant right out front of the vet clinic there. Thankfully it is run by decent people who helped him out even though he's not a cat. Such decency in dealing with strangers must surely translate to a good bedside manner with precious pets. more

This is a Great Clinic 9/15/2005

The staff at this clinic are all exceptional! Dr. Yen and the staff are competent, helpful, kind and really care about the animals they see. Everyone is knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to figure out, and give, the best treatment available. This is a great and safe place for your animal! Pros: Competent, kind and friendly, good facilities more

We think the world of Campus Veterinary Hospital!! 8/16/2005

We originally started going to Campus Vet when Dr. Berger was still there. Now, Dr. Simon Yen runs the place. Dr. Yen has been fabulous. He's very kind and gentle with the animals and empathetic with the owners. We've had tumors removed and biopsied on one of our dogs and had to euthanize our elderly cat due to extreme decline in health. Dr. Yen was wonderful through all our pets trials and tribulations. We actually live in the Oakland Hills but travel to Berkeley for vet care. When our cat passed away, Dr. Yen took impressions of our cats paw prints for us. It was a very kind and sweet gesture. PROS: Has parking, can usually get in on short notice, will return e-mails CONS: It's a bit out of our way, but we wouldn't go to any other vet! more

Great vet! 6/29/2005

Dr. Berger used to be the head vet at Campus, and I was afraid that when he retired I wouldn't be as happy, but Dr. Yen has taken over, and he is awesome. He's gentle and kind, and listens to my concerns. The staff at Campus are stellar. I cannot say enough good things about the care my animals have received at Campus vet over the years. more
