Editorial review from Citysearch 8/9/2013

I took my 2013 Keystone Avalanche 5th wheel RV that I bought from them October 2012 in to have the Kitchen faucet replaced under warranty. They had the RV for 2 1/2 weeks. When I went to pick it up I noticed trash and water on the floor. It took the guy almost an hour to find my keys. They had lost my lube pad off the Pin Box. When I got home I hooked my water hose to the RV to check out their work. Water sprayed everywhere! After doing some checking, I found they had left a washer out of a fitting on the supply line. The Faucet was not tightened to the counter top. I could move it around easily. I made a trip back over to the store and got no help at all. I ended up fixing it myself. The next week I called Camping World of Chattanooga and ask to speak to Mark the Manager. I was given his voice mail where I left two messages. He hasn't returned my calls. My advice is do as I'm going to do. Stay away from this store!!!!! more

Deceptive lying ignorant 8/5/2011

If they had a negative star rating, I'd use it. First off, they told me what I wanted to hear over the phone about a used motorhome. So I decided to make the 400+ trip to look and possibly buy the rv. As it turns out, they assigned a salesman that knew less about motorhomes than anyone in the whole facility. Being a first time purchaser I would think they would have had someone else show the rv. There were numerous issues with the motorhome that were intentionally avoided when doing the ""walk through"" over the phone. Service engine light, motor AC inoperative, broken front windshield, water leak on slideout, brakes absolutely trashed, rust, blown water heater tank, and other misc. problems. I asked specifically to have everything operational once I arrive since I am driving a long distance and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PREP THIS RV. I knew it needed tires and they supposedly had a tire place setup for when I arrived to change them. I even offered to pay up front for the tires and they declined. Once I arrived they had NOTHING setup and I wasted hours finding another tire place to swap the tires. Now as far as the motorhome was concerned they had a fan running on the interior to try to cover up the water leak....and that was it. They didn't have the refrigerator operating or the water on or the heaters ready. They dealed on the price and got it cheaper but I also found out about other problems after I drove it home. The brakes were rough and I can't believe they would let anyone take it in the condition it was in. I was so disgusted that I just wanted to make it home and deal with the mechanical problems myself. Half of which were discovered after I got it home. I do accept some of the responsibility since I was naive enough to trust these liars. My advice to anyone about to deal with this place is to NOT trust anything they tell you about their products on the lot. Do your research and possibly have a 3rd party check out the rv for you. This company removed the ABS malfunction light from the dash so they could avoid the costly repairs that the ABS braking system needed. That alone shows blatant dishonesty and fraud. I know better now and accept my lumps. But if you do decide to deal with this Camping World, make sure you have a good attorney available because you may need it. more
