Alright, so I had to move from my apartment to another apartment.. and yes, I had PLENTY of stuff. \r \r I called this guy because a friend of mine used their service before and he said they're good. So yes, I called Camel Moving. \r \r I was happy with the service, stuff were moved from the old place to the new place in a jiffy. Nothing got damage. more

My story is another tale of the suffering economy. My company had to downsize and move to smaller offices. We had been in the same building for many years and thus had acquired many files and furniture over the years. My first thought was how am I going to fit this all into a smaller office? And I don't want to use just anybody to move our office. Moving files, computers, and sensitive documents are a different ballgame than moving clothes and dishes. After I did some research, I spoke to Camel and realized they were the perfect fit. Not only did they give me a lower quote than other local companies, but they also knew just what to do for moving an office like mine. They were able to help me make the best use of my smaller office space by arranging the furniture/file cabinets accordingly and they even stored my excess furniture for the time being. The movers took such care to make sure I knew where my belongings were going and asked my permission before making any hasty decisions. I found the movers to be so polite, friendly, considerate, and helpful. I can't think of another time where I have gotten great customer service like this. If you're moving your office, Camel is the one to call! more

As someone struggling to make ends meet in this economy, I was happy to come across a company that was not going to gouge me but instead help me and come up with a reasonable price for their services. I wasn't pleased I had to move but once I bit the bullet I was happy I went with Camel. Everything from the helpful office staff who gave me a quote over the phone to the guys who helped us move the day of was A+. I appreciated the professionalism of the movers. They were helpful and polite; and I didn't hear one lewd joke in front of my kids! These guys are great. I can't say that enough! Not only that but the price is more than fair for the service you get. In fact I would say it's cheap! Moving is never something you look forward to but when working with a company like this, you can at least have peace of mind that you and your belongings are being taken care of! I know it can be difficult to work with me and my family sometimes; we are all over the place and we have a bunch of dogs... but they were professional, courteous, on time, and didn't seem phased by the chaos in our home. They even helped us pack some last minute items we had not packed yet. They came prepared for any situation and were eager to help. Unlike other companies, the price they quoted was the price we paid. No surprises, which is something to be proud of these days when people will twist your arm and get anything out of you they can. It really was a pleasure to work with them, and I would choose Camel again in a heartbeat. I really want to thank the team for a job well done and an easy transition into my new home. DO NOT USE CAMEL MOVING!!!! I can not express it enough. They were completely unprepared and unprofessional. They showed up with 25 moving blankets, not nearly enough to protect my furniture even though I was very detailed in what would needed to be protected on the phone before the move. They claimed that packing tape was included but charged me for it at the end. They were soooooo slow...they broke many items, some we are just now finding. They broke some things and taped it back together and didn't tell us about it. They marked up the walls even when I asked them repeatedly to be careful of the fresh paint. At the end...they expected a tip and when we didn't give them one they got an attitude. Strangely enough...my car had a box cutter blade magically appear in my rear tire the next morning, destroying it, had to buy a new one. I called their customer service during the move to complain, called a second time and they didn't answer. When I called after the move to file a claim, they said I need before and after pictures of the broken stuff, come down to the office to meet with them and the crew...and it would take 6-8 weeks to process it. DO NOT USE THEM...you will regret it!\r more

1. They are extortionists. Once the movers came, they demanded more money. 2. They ruined half our stuff - scratches, bangs, dents. 3. They ran out of furniture blankets half way into the job so for the rest of the job simply taped the furniture itself - of course removing all the pain and leaving tape and adhesive when removed. 4. Poor customer service during the move and after the move. I hired another moving company when I moved a year later. I told those movers about my experience and they said they have heard worse horror stories about this moving company. I think its interesting the names on the good reviews are similar to the names of people who work for Camel Moving. The same people who swear they offer amazing service. If you're the one rating yourself, why not give yourself five stars. Cons: Poor service all around more

If you want a better and timely service then beware of Camel moving company. They talk and cant keep up their words..\r WORST ever service...if you want things at right time then dont ever go near them...\r \r I was told it takes 7 to 10 days but when i asked about that they ask us to see the Fine print (which is small font ofcourse) where it says 30 business days. And they challenge they are within limits and they are not late. Believe me I got my 1 bdr apt household things after one month.\r \r I DONT WANT ANYONE TO SUFFER Pros: Good talking sales people Cons: Dont commit to their words....DELAYED Service more

This is the third time I have used this company and they have done another outstanding job! My move was done quickly and carefully with no problems. I almost laughed when I saw the final bill...it was so inexpensive. And the movers were fantastic!!!! Pros: Great employees! more
