Dennis and Kelly are great! They really know their inventory, have wines for any budget, and can entertain you for hours! You'll find wines there that you've never heard of, which is fun when you're taking wines to a dinner party or serving them in your home. Pros: Great wines that you won't find elsewhere; wonderful, engaging management more

WOW! Great Experience!! 9/10/2006

My friends recommended this shop, and I see why. The staff was very friendly (Kelly and Dennis) and knowledgeable. Tasting is free with purchase. Cheese and crackers were provided to cleanse the palate. We asked to sample sweeter wines and were pleased with the 8 or so presented to us. Wines presented varied in price from $15 - $25 per bottle, so higher priced wines were not pushed on us though they are available upon request. \r \r This was the hi-light of our trip. We recommend this shop to everyone and are anxious to return! Pros: Ambience, Staff, Choices Cons: None that I could find! more

unique wine finds 3/15/2006

My friends and I found this wine shop and staff exceedingly kind, knowledgeable & generous with samplings - any wine we inquired about was quickly opened and poured - it's one thing to hear a description and another to actual sample the product. We enjoyed discovering some excellent wines. There wasn't any hint of a fee for tasting either - theowner even had cheese or crackers to complement the wines he poured. more

Worst place you can go to on the central coast 2/2/2006

The man that runs the wine shop in one word is rude. The sign outside, and a sign inside says it's a tasting room and they charge $6-$8 to sample wines. We walk in there to try some wines and the guy right from the start has a rude, snotty attitude. ""We don't do tastings here, if you want to do tastings I have this great map of wineries to go to."" ""If you want to buy a $100 bottle of Burgundy, I'll let you sample it, but I have to check your credit card to see if you can afford."" ""So you're just trying to waste some time and you're wasting my time."" These are all words that came out of this VERY rude mans mouth. DON'T visit! It's a waste of time, and you'll get treated poorly. We later learned at a different shop, this is quite common. Cons: Rude, Snotty, Rude more
