I have also been with CFF for over 10 years. Since 1997 I have watched the club grow, and with each new site they always maintain a cheerful staff, excellent equipment, great class schedules for everything from yoga to x-bike, all styles of body shaping, racquetball, basketball, tennis, free weights, and the list goes on. Pros: the best machines, weights, body shaping classes, kids club- better than anything in LA! Cons: the kid club can only be used for 2 hours at a time. more

I have been a member of California Family Fitness for over ten years and have enjoyed their different facilities. They are usually upbeat, modern, and clean. I have found most of the staff to be very nice and cheerful. However, it would appear that their ambitions to be the largest fitness club in California come with a price. Customer Service. Several events took place over the last few months that made us finally give up our $26 dollar charter membership and find a fitness club that cares about its members. more

2 car windows broken in a 1 year period! One in broad daylight the other up front under a light. We have been members for over 10 years- generally satisfied and we've been really happy with the low monthly fee but adding the cost of car windows to that fee is getting pricey. The Sherriffs department stated that this is a common occurance at Cal-Fit & the staff at Cal-Fit seemed completley unconcerned. Also, almost every person I have told about this has had some story about a similar incident at a Cal Fit. I noticed for a while that there was a security guard in the parking lot but that seems to have stopped & there appear to be some iffy characters roaming around at all times. The place is way too crowded. Forget about parking or finding your choice of cardio equipment anytime after 4:00. There is not a very good variety of cardio equipment. The same bikes, elipitcial, etc. Over crowded swimming pools as well. Gross! more
