Calabria's Italian Restaurant

I like the new location, although the restaurant itself is a little cramped. The food is very good. I had the chicken francaise and it was excellent. The salads are good but our waiter forgot the bread. We actually had a great waiter, otherwise. It's probably not the best place to bring small kids as the tables are not too far apart so rambunctious little ones could bother others. I will probably wait until my kids are a little older, at least. However, I believe they do have a limited children's menu. The atmosphere is nice..think table clothes and candlelight but I would not call it a formal restaurant. There is a small room in the back that could sit several (maybe 8-10 people?) I hope they succeed there because it would be nice if old Eau Gallie could be revitalized. Between 3 and 4 stars but I'll stick with 3 for this review. more

On the particular evening we went, Friday evening, had a reservation...were a little late. Wait was 10 minutes 20 minutes later asked status of table, Hostess VERY RUDE, it was chilly and we were told to wait outside and they would let us know when we could sit, no room for us inside!! You would think we would have left but nope, we stayed. Finally after 30 minutes we were seated. Waitress was VERY SLOW, service needs to be greatly improved. Food was okay, but overpriced for what we received. Okay food is acceptable if service if phenominal, when the service needs to be greatly improved and the food is just okay, it isn't worth a trip back. more
