The place tastes like it looks.
Perhaps our expectations for ""fine dining"" were mistrusted from their website. ""fine diving"" is more like it.
The waitress was wonderful throughout it all, we gave her a good tip.
We ordered at 6:15pm having arrived at 6:05, and our entrees still had not come out at 7:30 so we asked for our check, thus far, and paid and left.
The garlic bread (homemade bread) was crispy, but not very garlicky (the butter was not fresh); the bruschetta (she pronounced it correctly!) was not great - the tomatoes were of poor texture and almost canned taste, and a not very creative recipe.
The ice water was not filtered well, worcester chlorine was still yelling at us..
the table bread (homemade) was very good, but the butter was on its last legs, and the table olive oil was stale (not quite rancid).
We were in a business meeting discussion situation, thus it was not appropriate to ask for replacements for the above, altho we would have had plenty of time.
A better way to have handled our situation would have been to not have charged us for the three appetizers and/or given us a coupon for a return visit in hopes that things would be better.
Pros: great waitress, accommodating, understanding
Cons: food, decor, slowness in kitchen
