I had a wonderful experience here. The food was so delicious. The service was very helpful and on top of things. The chef is a good guy and ran the place exceptional.

Worst

The food wasn?t that good, it was Ok (we were there for brunch). Nothing fancy though as it shows on their website. The set and the quality of the place weren?t good at all. Would...

Gambas de ajilla son buenisimas Tio 9/11/2010

Brought me back to Spain for a minute. Croquetas Estrella Damn and jamon y queso all were all damn good. A bit pricey but it was worth checking out. more

Romantic, Cozy Place 4/17/2010

Just happened to go there one night. The food was great. The signature drinks were delicious. Pros: Good food, great service more

Food is OK. 11/27/2008

The restaurant is small and cozy, very good atmosphere. But the food is OK, not very impressive. the bartender is also OK who is nice but not very fluent in English. The store manager is very kind. more

Good food, good drinks and good service! 11/20/2008

We went to have dinner at Cafe Ronda and we had a really good experience! the food is really good, we started with some tapas, then i had an excellent lomo saltado with a delicios sangria the dessert was really good too. There is a very warm and nice atmosphere, the people working there are friendly and very pleasant. The place is very well distributed and the music was excellent as well... The only bad thing was that they only accept AMEX or cash but other than that we had a very nice time! more

Cafe Ronda's Brunch is Fantastic 11/19/2008

Went to cafe ronda on a sunday morning with my girlfriend, a little hung over. We were told that the wait would be 20 minutes, but were sat down in less than ten. Our waiter approached us in a fiendly manner and told him about our situation. He recommended that we have a blooody mary, and that was a perfect choice. We then ordered the best baked eggs in the neighborhood ( thats if other restaurants on the UPW make them). I really recommend it. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a sunday. We will definitely come back for dinner and sangria. I give it 5 stars.(Keep it up, im new in the neighborhood.) Pros: Best Baked eggs on the upper west side Cons: Only AMEX and cash more

nothing special, wouldn't go back there 7/2/2008

The food wasn?t that good, it was Ok (we were there for brunch). Nothing fancy though as it shows on their website. The set and the quality of the place weren?t good at all. Wouldn?t recommend it. Pros: cheap breakfast/brunch Cons: below average place, bad scene, not enjoyable more

The Worst all the way around! 5/21/2008

The food is below average. The service is amateur and below par. The waitstaff is rude and cover up for each other. They got nothing going for them. I will never come back. Pros: none. Cons: bad food, bad service. more

Best steak & eggs and baked eggs 5/1/2008

We had breakfast at Cafe Ronda yesterday. I ordered the mediterranean baked eggs, they prepare them with feta cheese, olives and tomatoes, . My wife ordered steaks and eggs and they were superb.. Pros: Ambiance, hip Cons: No Visa more

poor customer service, declining food 4/29/2008

I had brunch at Cafe Ronda last week and am sorry to say that what used to be a decent restaurant is no longer worthy. All of our eggs were well done, and when I asked to speak with a manager, we were told there was no manager on duty. What kind of restaurant doesn't have a manager?? If I can make better eggs at home, I have no reason to pay $12 at their restaurant. Its not that hard after all folks. Pros: close to my house Cons: service, food, value more

Remarkable steaks in nice atmosphere 2/18/2008

My second visit to Ronda confirmed that this is one of the places to go if you want the non-steak-house steak experience. A very tender and generously sized filet mignon at $24 is definitely worth the trip; yet, I recommend fries (or salad) instead the roasted potatoes, which are a bit soft and soaky for my taste. Also salads are a good choice (consider sharing one to start, maybe), and I have heard good things from neighbouring tables about the paella. Service is friendly, ambience is nice, lighting is cozy, only the noise levels are a little high - not disturbing though. more
