This is the best italian dining experience in south floride. The food is outstanding and consistent every time. Wait staff is personable and professional. This place is our most reliable choice when we want a night out for dinner and drinks and it wont break the bank either. If you pay more than $20 or $25 for italian food then you are choosing to be taken advantage of. You wont have to here and its a truly unique dining experience. more

I was thrilled with the great service, attention to details, professionalism, and great food quality we experienced by Giuseppe (owner) and each and every one of the staff members. We even talked about it for a few hours after we left. It's not common these days to see owners paying attention to details such as handling a bellini glass to smoothen the short wait and apologizing, constantly checking on the guests both visually and verbally (i.e. which is different than bugging the guests every two minutes with questions, which happens in many restaurants in my mind) and sending a glass of champagne at the end of the dinner as well.\r \r The food itself was great in taste and the right portion size, which another thing you don't see these much these days with guests looking for "value" (i.e. rather than quality). Not too much sauce on the lasta but enough to make it tasty.\r \r Thanks again for a great experience and I'll definitely be back during my next trip to Miami. more

DISAPPOINTENT! 7/28/2011

Totally disappointment!! Went there with the family for my birthday. The hostess knew we were celebrating a special occasion but couldn't care less. We tried making a reservation over the phone but were told, no reservations only first come first serve. When we arrive we were told we would be seated in 30 -45 min. So we sat at the bar and waited............ and waited. We started seeing people being seated who had arrived after us. We only needed a table of four, so it wasn't hard to find one. The hostess kept telling us, we were next in line, but ever happened!!! He even said he had to seat reservations first. He was caught in his own lie since he had already told us they did not accept reservations. After waiting for one hour and 45 minutes, we left extremely angry and totally disappointed. DON'T GO TO PRIMA PASTA IF YOU ARE NO WILLING TO HEAVILY BRIBE $$$$$$$$ THE GUY AT THE HOSTESS TABLE TO BE SEATED. WE LATER CONFIRMED WITH FRIENDS IN THE AREA THAT THAT'S THE ONLY WAY ON HOW YOU GET A TABLE AT THIS RESTAURANT. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! NEVER COMING BACK, FOR SURE. more

The food WAS great the first few times we went. Now the quality is no longer there. The Lobster Ravioli were not good at all. The stuff they used to fill it was just bad. I say stuff because it was no lobster, it tasted like the inside of a cuban bocadito which would be fine if i had ordered bocaditos. more

What Has Happened to Prima Pasta? 8/1/2010

Cafe Prima Pasta used to be a great place to go, however the last couple of times have been dreadful. The menu choices seemed to be fewer and what choices we did have were bland, uninteresting and cold. We won't be going back again all we got for our money was bad food and mediocre service. Pros: We were seated quickly without a reservation. Cons: The food was awful! more
