I agree that this former gem has suffered from it's own success. A once accomodating wait-staff has now become arrogant and belligerent, which mirrors the attitude that the owner harbors for her patrons. I am the chef, play by my rules. You, the patron, serve me.
The never written ""no request honored"" three plate special suprise that was gracefully offered to accomodate patrons that have food allergies, is not now even considered because the owner ""just does not want to do it that way."" Build up clients and then you are successfull, then you can have the luxury to shun them.
Too sad, it used to be an great culinary experience to eat here. What price success...
