Service is insulting! Bad and keeps getting worse 4/24/2005

I live very near this place and had an ok brunch the first time I tried it... the food was fine but not great. The second time I attempted to go was out of convenience... it was right in front of us. THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! So slow and unapologetic. It wasn't crowded... at all... and, yet, our waiter was missing in action the entire experience. We all vowed to never return. Well, in a moment of weakness and again convenience I decided to give in another shot. I left before we were ever seated. I have rarely experienced such rude service. We were completely ignored for 20 minutes waiting for a host/waiter/or anyone! They saw us and others waiting and just looked right through us. The staff watched us and several other couples walk out and just didn't care. I really will NEVER go back! Cons: Service, Service, Service more

Best Ravioli EVER 3/31/2005

I have only eaten here once, but I had their mushroom ravioli, and it was great. The seating was a bit cramped, but other than the tables being too close together, I would suggest this place to any one looking for a nice dinner while out on the town. Pros: nice wine selection Cons: cramped seating more

Had great cassoulet there...very rich and flavorful. Best fries I have ever had...I don't know the secret. Beats out even Belgium fry places. Great atmosphere, very cute, moderate prices. I love this place! more

Great place 2/21/2005

I don't understand why most people complain about the service. I went there this past Saturday around 9pm. First had a cheese platter at the bar and then enjoyed a nice dinner with friends. Food and ambiance was great. Our waitress was attentive but also not annoying as some wait staff in restaurants can be. On our way out ~11:30pm the bar area was full also with cool types. I would go there again. more

If you're looking to be treated in a rude and disrespectful manner, then this is the place for you. Also, I suggest making your reservation for about an hour earlier than you'd actually like to be seated, since that's how long you'll be waiting when you get there, even though they'll tell you it will "just be a few minutes". It's incredible this place is still in business. Plenty of other great restaurants in the area. Save your money for someplace that's worth it. Cons: WORST SERVICE EVER more

waited over one hour when we had reservations. manager kept insisting it would only be a 15 minute wait for an our. eventually left the establishment after purchasing many drinks at the bar. definitely not recommended with the current manager. more

We went to this place on a Saturday night. It took 20 minutes to get a table. Then the disappontments began. The food took over 45 minutes. In the french tradition, the server was rude. Wehen the food finally arrived, however, I bit into nothing less than the tastiest burger I have ever had in my life. Everyone was satisfied with their food, but we missed meeting our friends that night because the dinner took too long. If you go, you must decide whether the good food is worth the horrible service. Pros: Good Food, Pleasant atmosphere more

tho warm and cozy in environment, service really could be better. and if you're into wine, they'll probably have it... beers, don't expect to find any- been there twice and they never have any of their drafts and barely anything on bottle. Pros: nice environment, not crowded Cons: , no beer more

Tres Fantastique! 9/20/2004

2nd time here. Threw a birthday party there last Saturday for a friend. Our group of 10 was treated fantastically, although the service was a bit slow. T crispy salmon in corn puree is delicious. The mushroom ravioli was rich and tasty. The steak frites dish: steak a bit chewy. The frites were perfect. When they brought out the cake, turned off all the lights and the entire restaurant joined in to serenade our birthday girl. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely go again. Pros: Great Ambience, Perfect for groups Cons: , Portions Vary more
