Uncomfortably "upscale" 11/6/2006

Cady's used to be a "Bar & Grill" restaurant with a fun atmosphere; it was a great place to go out with a group of friends. Unfortunately, over the last several years this restaurant has moved away from their burgers and beer roots and become more "upscale" - by which I mean fewer menu items I want and higher prices. My wife and I used to go to Cady's regularly on dates, but it's no longer a place we feel comfortable. more

This place is hot or miss with me. I have had really good meals, and then there have been mediocre times where i couldn't find a single thing i wanted on the menu. The atmosphere is cool, and they have a lot of Ypsi history and old sports stuff hanging around. Apparently Bill Clinton ate there when he was president. Its worth a shot to try for somthing different. Prices for some things are a little high. I'm going to try it agian though. You shoudl too. more

This place is a blast from the past. Curb side drive-up service just like in the old days. The food is REALLY good, just not good for you- they make a great ham sandwich and have awesome shakes as well. Definetly a cool place to go and ahve some grub, and i think there are picnic tables set up for summertime outdoor eating if you choose. Not the best location, but it's a long time Ypsi establishment and a very cool place. more

Great atmosphere! 8/14/2005

If you are in depot town and want something other than a burger and a beer then Cady's is the place for you! They have done extensive remodeling and the results are fantastic! Ask to be seated outside in the BACK courtyard, it may be the best outdoor seating around. The food is very good. Pastas are huge, salads are always fresh and very large. Fish is fresh and the daily specials are worth going in for. Ask your server for a glass or bottle of wine to go with dinner, they have the largest selection in the area! ENJOY! more
