I thought since I read about the company on this site and then ended up using them, that it would be nice to let you all know about my move to New Jersey . I saw the reveiw for Cheap Moving Company New York a week or so ago and thought I`d give them a try. I have to say, I`m glad I did. They were so nice and helpful. They walked me through it just like the person said in the review and made it so easy for me. It took a couple minutes of my time to fill out the inventory list they make you fill out, but this is only so they can get you a real price. Not a quote like all the other companies do. and that was the price i paid. no hidden costs, no hassles. I recommened them to anyone considering a move. thanks guys. more

This crew of five moved us from our apartment in Manhattan to anotther apartment 30 blocks away. They broke nothing, they moved us quickly, and they re-wrapped many of my self-packed boxes that didn`t look strong enough to them, without charging us. They took every shelf off the wall, disassembled our beds, including my kids` bunks, and reassembled them in our new apartment. They took stuff to our storage area. The owner, Eric even advised me on how to pack my china and other breakables, once he realized we were doing the packing ourselves. He and his team of men were nice, respectful , honest guys, and he gave us a binding estimate that did not change. I was referred to Cheap Moving Company New York by a friend of mine who works for the company. I received an estimate from Eric (the owner of the company) for 6 hours including travel time. My job came to 7 hours but you should have seen those guys work (I am a musician so I had lots of equipment) the guys were friendly and actually seemed happy moving all my large, heavy boxes. I had a crew of 5 men and I definitely need them with all our stuff my wife alone had most of the truck with her clothes and shoes we also have 2 girls with just as much stuff as there mother. Cheap Moving Company New York was great and I will recommend them to everyone that I know. The least that I can do for these guys and this company is provide an excellent rating. Wow! All I can say is wow! These guys made my move so incredibly easy. I was moving into a luxury condominium building that has very strict insurance requirements. A woman named Erica from the mover's office immediately contacted me once I accepted their bid. She and I were in contact the entire time up until the day of the move. She was available all of the time and even responded to my e-mails on weekend. She was extremely helpful in providing all of the paperwork my building needed. She worked directly with the management company and I did not even need to be involved. About a week before the move I needed to add my big screen TV to the job. They were more than willing to accommodate my request and we negotiated an additional fee for the TV. On the day of the move, they were 15 minutes early, which was impressive based on my experience with other movers. They brought an extra mover who was not originally in the quote and did not charge me extra. They knew exactly what they were doing and had an assembly line of moving boxes out the door and pushing them on rolling carts to the service elevator and out to the truck. They wrapped my sofa and bookcases before moving them. My big screen TV is incredibly awkward to move and they did a phenomenal job of wrapping the whole thing and they carefully moved it to the truck. They had moved me out of my old apartment in 1.5 hours including 60 boxes and several pieces of furniture. They drove the four blocks to my new apartment and started moving everything into the new place immediately. They were extremely careful on the move-in and asked me where each piece should go. They were courteous and efficient the entire time. None of my items were damaged and there were no marks on any of the wall . more

Recently I moved with the cheap Moving Company. I must tell you this is my third move and each time I used a different moving company.I was not satisfied with the first two but in the cheap moving company I received excellent services. The salesperson was friendly and answered all my questions. The movers were prompt and did a professional job.
