The growth of older adult population is significantly outpacing the expansion of the healthcare workforce. Because a mounting shortage of nurses, CNAs, and caregivers is reaching a critical stage, our community’s most vulnerable population is at elevated risk. CMG was established in 2020 to address the growing demographic crisis by recruiting and training new CNA candidates, by educating healthcare professionals to better meet the needs of patients and clients, and by equipping informal caregivers with skills to better protect older adults, and individuals with illness and disability.
