C & R Glass Inc

We used this company two years ago and they were great. We had an issue with our marble saddles at the shower that time and they asked us to make the saddle level so it wouldn't interfere with the door movement in both ways. We fixed all three saddles and made them level. They installed all three doors without any issues. We sold that house and bought another. We called them back because they did great work two years ago. Craig came to take measurements of our new showers. He was different from the guy two years ago. He stated there was an issue that the saddles were level and needed a pitch. We stated our last experience. He insisted he would never do a job in that manner. We stated it wasn't him but a different installer. He told us he can ""choose whomever he wanted to work for."" He then grabbed his stuff and said we wasted his time. I told him he was being rude and unprofessional...my exact words. He decided to curse at me and told me to have a terrible day, while still adding a few more expletives. I was shocked that this occurred, especially that my young children were present. We called the company and the ladies were very nice, but unfortunately he is the son-in-law of the owner. As you could imagine, we went with someone else. They are definitely not the only glass people around. We can only give the lowest one star, but they really are a ""zero"". STAY AWAY!!!!!!! more

Although this place came recommended, it was the most frustrating experience to deal with the horribly unorganized office staff that answered the phone. She (Carol) had terrible phone manners, lost my estimate THREE times and made someone keep returning to my house to re-measure the windows, which only dragged out the process even longer. They finally came to install, and due to miscommunication, did not have what I had asked for. Over one week later, I called to follow up, only to be interrupted and yelled at by Carol for about 3 minutes straight, and was ultimately HUNG UP ON. I was livid. This is NO WAY to run a business. If you can put up with awful phone manners, multiple estimates, and you don't have a strict timeframe, then this company might be for you. If you want to get new glass in time-efficient manner without being treated poorly, keep shopping. Pros: Low Price Cons: Lost estimate THREE times, terrible office staff more

We have used C & R for years and have never been disappointed. We've had auto glass, storm windows, and storm door inserts replaced here and have bought glass and plexiglass table tops. The prices are good and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this business. more
