If I was a regular at any place, this would have to be my lair... A short walk from my homestead, CI Bar has a solid breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beer. A nice place to grab beers with friends or watch sporting events on one of their 10 wide screens? more

My wife and I would give the food a 4 out of 5 and the live music (Conroy Debrie) a 6 out of 5! The food menu has vast, diverse selections which is what you would expect for a bar/grill. The price of the food is very reasonable as is the price of their drinks. The bartenders do not skimp on their pours either which is refreshing (pun intended)! The staff has always been above-average and the setting is what you would expect for a place like this. more

The service is good and if you go enough it gets to be homey. The food is good to really good for this type of joint, coffee is hot and ready. The C&I has been around for over 80 years and has cleaned itself up nicely from the old smokey days, parking is ok. They have live music on Thursdays, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, take it from there. So bottom line, good food, nice people, get up and give it a try. more

This is one of my favorite places to go! It's casual and low key and they have great food-espicially breakfast! If you are looking for a low key place to meet friends for drinks or a place that you don't have to worry about what your wearing this might be your new favorite spot!!!! more

I have been going to the C.I every week 5/2/2012

I have been going to the C.I every week for over 2 years now. The food alone would give it a 5-star rating. The band (Conroy-DeBrie) alone would give it a 5 star. The combination of both in one venue keeps me coming back every week (usually 2 nights per week!) As far as the parking issues some have commented on, I have never seen anyone towed from the C.I. parking, but have heard a number of problems with parking on the Juan Colorado spots. Oh, and the service is always delightful, even when they are slammed with customers. more

Every time I visit my family from out 4/26/2012

Every time I visit my family from out of state I have to make a stop at the CI bar. It's not much to look at from the exterior-nor the interior for that matter-but it's a great place for a cold beer, generously liquored cocktails, and what I would say is better than average bar food. I highly recommend their salads (especially the fajita salad-beware that it is a ton food!) I consider all of these to be ""bonuses"" to the biggest draw that this place has for me: the live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. It isn't the kind of music that I normally listen to (I'm 25, and admittedly not a huge audiophile) but the talent of the musicians at the CI lends timelessness and the possibility for cross-generational enjoyment and extreme entertainment. more

They towed my car away - cant' believe it! 1/7/2011

I can't even begin to write my review because the anger is overwhelming. I parked in their parking lot thinking that i could go to his neighbor's place (Juan Colorado shares his parking lot) but when i came out my car was gone. I explained the situation to the owner and they would not help! more

This place is a total dive. Beer is warm, food is typically served past it's prime. If you feel like slumming it, this is the place to be! Also, don't go here if you like your car, because they have an arrangement with some local goons to tow away cars in their parking lot, seemingly at random. more

Parking Natzi - LookOut! 1/7/2011

The CI Bar used to be a pretty cool place to hear music and have a drink, but the owner has gone completely crazy over his parking lot. He has turned a pack of ""Patrol towing"" goons loose on his lot and at lunch time they sneak around trying to catch people who have parked ""improperly"" in his lot. Literally, they run around with digital cameras taking pictures of people as they walk down the street! Supposedly justifying their towing ""contract"" that they have with the bar. more

This bar has gone downhill drastically over the past few years. The atmosphere of live music, friendly service, and delicious food is GONE! (well except for the delicious food). I have been a customer several times over the past few years, and each time I go the service and atmosphere are less and less pleasing. If you can get over the bad service and poorly designed building layout, then you will probably love the food, that's what kept me coming back. My latest experience was basically the same as the others just exacerbated to the point where I no longer want to hassle with it. It took over 10 minutes for any type of service whether it be a drink or a fork and napkin to go with your meal. Overall this place is more trouble than it's worth. Pros: strong drinks, great food Cons: HORRIBLE SERVICE! more
