C & D Auto Body

Honestly, I probably wouldn't use C & D Auto Body again because I am fairly concerned with my car looking more like its original condition. I used them for the first time when I had an accident in my vehicle. I was hit on the driver's side, which I had repaired before. I normally take my car to the dealership, and they are able to match the paint. This time there is a difference with the paint where the repairs were done. Also, a day after I picked up my car, the bumper fell off. They forgot to put a screw in. They were very willing to fix it, but it was the whole experience that was the issue. They did take in my car right away, and they gave me a fair estimate for other work I had done. But I was disappointed with the paint color. more

I've used C & D Auto Body several times on several different vehicle repairs. They were always very informative, on time and reasonable. Their communication is also excellent. more

C & D Auto Body handled everything for me very professionally and very quickly. I've only been there one time, but they got my car in and out within a reasonable amount of time. That's what I liked about it. They didn't hold onto the car for a whole week. I had to rent a car while they were doing the work, and that's what I told them. Every day I'm renting a car, I said, it's costing me. So they got the part, put it in and within three days my car was ready. The work they did is excellent! My car looks really nice, and so far it's running pretty good! more

I had my wife's car detailed, inside and out, at C&D Autobody after they made what appeared to be a decent repair to my sons front bumper. The detail work was scheduled in advance and what was suppose to be one day ended up as two. When I did pick up the car it was dark (5 pm) and raining. They were kind enough to keep the car in the garage so I could look over the car and accept their work. From what I could see, they did a good job. I drove the car home in the rain at a top speed of 35 mph as I live near by their shop. The next morning while my wife was driving the car THE HOOD FLEW OPEN and crushed against the window. Fortunately she was able to control the car and bring it to a safe stop. As can be expected she was extremely frightened. Minus all the small details, she was able to close the hood until the safety latch was able to catch and drive the car home. I took the car back to C&D to inform them of the incident. In no way did they want to accept responsibility for unlatching the hood. I was told they do not open the car hood for detailing. I informed them we have owned the car since it was new (over 10 years) and we have never had an accident or issue with the car. I suspect the latch was pulled when detailing inside the car. After going back and forth they agreed to replace the hood, repair the dents on the roof (just above window), replace window wiper molding. The estimate I received showed $0 customer $600 insurance. When I picked up the car after being repaired only the hood was repaired and I was informed the $600 was my responsibility. By the way my sons bumper came loose as the glue did not hold. Glue. It was suppose to be fastened with hardware. The good: clean shop and friendly staff. The sad: I really wanted to support a local small business. I just can't afford this type of service. more

The customer service at C & D Auto Body is great. I had a very pleasant experience and was very well accommodated. Everything was just put into action right away. That's what makes me happy: action, action, and then everything was done. I was really satisfied and really happy with everything done. The best thing that happened was that the job was completed ahead of time. That's what makes me even happier. I always recommend everyone to go there. The service is very great. The people working there are happy people. I like people that smile. They smile and they're very nice. more

I've gone to C & D Auto Body on two occasions. I found them very cooperative and pleasant both times! They greet you with a warm smile and tell you all you need to know. My car is in great shape now, post-repairs. The price was wonderful, too. more

Vic and his employees are so kind and helpful. They are quick responsive. I noticed while I was there them trying to ensure they found the most cost effective way for people to get their cars taken care of. They are truly people in the business to help and offer a service, not to take advantage of people. They do business like we all should. more

No issues whatsoever with C&D Auto Body. There was an insurance claim, they took care of everything, and they found extra problems not put in the original claim but they were able to incorporate the fixes anyways. My car looks just as it did prior to my accident which is great. more

I have no complaints about C & D Auto Body. Everything was good. My car was in an accident. They had to fix the paint job. They gave me an estimate of exactly how long it would take to finish the car. more

C&D will now be my regular shop for maintenance, as a result of finding my way there for repairs from a minor (not my fault!) collision. In addition to the excellent work on the bumper repair, I requested they look at a persistent coolant leak. The thorough service they provided to diagnose, communicate with me about their findings, and make the repairs I authorized was textbook perfect. My vehicle is aging and has some issues that may evolve into real problems over time. The staff arranged for me to talk with the mechanic working on my car to get a sense of what may be to come. I'll be able to make an informed decision about making a switch to a newer vehicle. Would it not be in their interests to have me continue to put money in to the current car to keep it on the road? I appreciated the advice. All the work was done in a shorter time span--3 days--than Ive experienced at other shops. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, and professional. Finally, upon retrieving the car, I expected it would be shiny clean on the outside, but what a pleasant surprise to find it spiffy on the inside, too! more

They had the car fixed in the time they said they would have it fixed. They said they would have it ready by Friday and it was. They checked for other damage, the car looked great and the service was good. Dick was great and helpful. He called and told me what was going on, and that he had to order another part. more

I was in a car accident and I went to C & D Auto Body to get my car repairs done. The whole staff was just great. They went above and beyond for me. Not only was their customer service great, but they did excellent work on my car. I would advise people to not only go to them for repairs, but even maintenance work. This was my first time using them and I will use them again. more

My experience with C & D Auto Body was very good. They fixed the damage in the back end of my vehicle. They fixed it, detailed, vacuumed the inside, the whole nine yards. It looks like it just came out of the show room. more

I had no problems at all with C & D Auto Body. They coordinated the rental car for me and helped me with that. They called Friday afternoon when my car was ready, so I could pick it up, but I couldn't get out there, so I was able to get one more day with the rental. They basically did everything called me when they were ready. more

This was my first experience with C & D Auto Body. The person who hit me, insurance company recommended them to me, so I thought that would be okay. I almost went to the dealer, but I'm so glad I didn't! From the moment I went in, everyone there was so nice. They provided great customer service and really went above and beyond for me. I was really surprised at how nice their customer service was, a nice surprise since many places are so rude to their customers. They, however, really impressed me with their excellent service. The way they fixed my car was wonderful! They did a great job. If they saw something, they fixed it. Like, there was a scratch no where near where they were working, and they went ahead and fixed it too, they didn't just leave it! Everything I asked them to do, they were quick to answer "no problem". Overall, from start to finish, this was a wonderful experience! I will definitely go back to them. When my vehicle was damaged in heavy winds, I was given a list of body shops by my insurance company. C & D Auto Body happened to be closest to where I was working at the time, so I gave them a shot. When I arrived, they were ready for me, and after a very minor wait they took me to pick up my rental car, which they had arranged ahead of time with my insurance company. When the repairs where complete, they called to notify me and I went to pick up my vehicle. Before leaving, I discovered a minor issue with the door, where it was not quite closing all the way. When I brought this to their attention, they basically put everyone in the shop at my disposal to correct the issue and get me ready to go quickly. I was really impressed. In less than an hour, I was out the door. After C & D's willingness to help me out on the spot, I wouldn't hesitate in using them again, were the need to arise. They were great about communicating with my insurance company, which made everything much easier for me. Also, their reception area is very clean and nice. I've been to others that smelled bad, and weren't nearly as customer friendly. C & D got it right. Louis West more

A drunk student at UMD damaged the entire passenger side of my G35X while parking and I was very flustered. I contacted C&D Autobody because they were in the area and worked with my insurance and I never looked back. They updated me on everything that was being done to my car during the whole process and had it done in a timely manner. When I got the call to pick up my vehicle I took the UMD bus that drops you off right by the shop and I was amazed. My car looked phenomenal and better than before. If you want a car repair done hassle look no further than C&D! more

C & D Auto Body repaired a dent on the back of my car. I have relied on them in the past as well because they do excellent work. They are very conscientious, and I feel that they really strive to achieve perfection, or as close as they can get, in terms of restoring the car back to how it was. more

My experience with C & D Auto Body was limited, but good. They repaired my son's vehicle when it was damaged at his university. They were located nearby and a preferred provider, so we were comfortable using their services. Everything turned out fine. We'd use them again if we had to. more
